SARS Treatment Tested as New Cases Arise

Health workers in Toronto investigate 33 suspected 

new cases of SARS. Hong Kong, Taiwan and China also report 

new SARS cases and deaths. Doctors in Hong Kong work on 

a new therapy for the flu-like disease, using blood plasma 

from patients who have recovered from the disease to treat 

others who have been infected.

トロントの医療関係者は新たな33人のSARS感染の疑いのある患者を検査していると発表した。

香港、台湾、中国でも新たなSARS患者と死亡が伝えられている。

香港では医師団がこのインフルエンザに似た病気の新しい治療法を研究中で、

その治療法とはSARSから回復した患者の血漿を使ってSARS患者を治療するものである。
