Merrill Lynch Lawsuit Dismissed A federal judge throws out a lawsuit filed by mutual fund investors who claimed they lost money because of shoddy research reports from investment firm Merrill Lynch. It's the third lawsuit against securities firms dismissed by Judge Milton Pollack this week. Pollack has denounced investors for trying to recover money he says they lost fairly. Dismiss
